Background

HyperFluor™ 488 NHS ester is a sulfonated, hydrophilic and highly water-soluble dye. The dye can be used to label proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing primary amine (R-NH2) biomolecules, resulting in HyperFluor™ 488 conjugates that will show brighter fluorescence and higher photostability than conjugates of other similar fluorophores. It is suitable for stable signal generation in microscopy and flow cytometry.

Excitation light (λex): 494 nm
