Fluo-3 AM
Catalog No.
C5092
A ready-to-use calcium ion fluorescent probe
Featured Products
Fluo-3 AM (CAS No. 121714-22-5) is one of the most commonly used fluorescent probes for detecting intracellular Ca2+ concentration. Fluo-3 AM is an acetoxymethyl ester derivative of Fluo-3 that can permeate the cell membrane and is cleaved by intracellular esterases to form Fluo-3. Fluo-3 can be retained inside cells and bind to intracellular Ca2+, then emit bright fluorescence. Compared with the traditional UV-excited Fura-2, Fluo-3 AM can be excited at 488 nm, causing less damage to cells.
