DMG-PEG2000-N3
DMG-PEG2000-N3 is a functionalized polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative. PEG2000 has good water solubility and biocompatibility, and the DMG (1, 2-dimyristiyl-Sn-glycerol) part is a lipid group that is commonly used to enhance the hydrophobicity and membrane binding ability of the molecule. N3 stands for azide group, a commonly used chemical group capable of reacting with alkyne groups through "click chemistry" to form stable triazole rings. The high efficiency and selectivity of this chemical reaction makes DMG-PEG2000-N3 useful in bioconjugating and drug delivery systems, where it can be used to connect drugs, probes, or other bioactive molecules to target molecules for specific biological functions or targeted delivery.
