Featured Products
Scutellarein (CAS No.: 529-53-3) is a natural flavonoid compound mainly found in Scutellaria plants, with multiple biological activities such as antioxidant, antitumor, anti-adipogenic, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory effects. Its mechanisms involve multiple signaling pathways, including exerting anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway, and modulating bacterial drug resistance through efflux pump inhibition. In vitro studies show that Scutellarein can inhibit nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated RAW264.7 cells at low micromolar levels, and reduce the mRNA expression levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Its applications in cell and animal models are diverse, and the doses or concentrations used in experiments typically depend on the experimental design and research objectives.
