HyperLight™ FluorGreen dsDNA Assay Kit

HyperLight™ FluorGreen dsDNA Assay Kit is a product designed for the fluorescent detection and quantification of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). The fluorescent nucleic acid dye used in this kit is extremely sensitive, emitting fluorescence only when bound to double-stranded DNA. The resulting fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the DNA concentration, offering high sensitivity and strong specificity. Due to its simple and convenient detection method, it has become the standard for residual DNA detection in bioproducts.

This kit is highly sensitive for dsDNA detection and is tolerant to high concentrations of salts, urea, detergents, and proteins. It is easy to use and allows for high-throughput sample reading with a microplate reader, making it widely applicable. In contrast, conventional DNA quantification methods measure absorbance at 260 nm (A260), but these methods are significantly affected by nucleotides, single-stranded nucleic acids, and proteins, and can also be interfered with by contaminants introduced during nucleic acid preparation. Moreover, they cannot distinguish between DNA and RNA. This kit can be used for cDNA library construction, purification of subcloned DNA fragments, DNA quantification, product amplification, and further detection of primers, among other applications.
