10X TBST Buffer

TBST, or Tris-Buffered Saline and Tween 20, is formulated by adding Tween 20 to TBS and adjusting the pH to 7.4 by HCl, which is an isotonic buffer salt solution commonly used in biology. Tween 20 is a non-ionic detergent that has the effect of repetitive antigen and improved specific recognition. TBST blocking and washing can reduce background and enhance signal-to-noise ratio, so it can be used for blocking solution configuration, primary antibody and secondary antibody configuration, and post-incubation washing in assays such as western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry (IC).
