Zharp2-1 is an orally potent RIPK2 inhibitor highly associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).Zharp2-1 blocks transcription and release of inflammatory cytokines induced by cytosolic wall acyl dipeptide (muramyldipeptide (MDP)) or induced by infection with Listeria monocytogenes.Zharp2-1 is effective in attenuating MDP-induced mouse peritonitis, or ameliorate DNBS-induced colitis in rats.
