Vigabatrin Hydrochloride

Vigabatrin Hydrochloride (CAS No.: 1391054-02-6) is a vinyl derivative of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA). As an irreversible GABA transaminase inhibitor, it can prevent the degradation of GABA, thereby increasing GABA levels in the brain and enhancing inhibitory neurotransmission. In biomedical research, Vigabatrin Hydrochloride is commonly used to study GABA-related neurotransmission mechanisms and the pathophysiology of epileptic seizures.
