Tribromoethanol, 2.5% (Rat)

For anesthesia of laboratory animals, mainly used for anesthesia of mice, and can replace chloral hydrate. Ready-to-use tribromoethanol solution (Avertin,1.25%) is prepared from high-quality Avertin, tert-amyl alcohol, normal saline, etc., and sterilized by filtration, with a final tribromoethanol concentration of 40mg/ml. This product is a colorless, transparent solution, administered by intraperitoneal injection for anesthesia. The onset time of anesthesia is less than 5min, and the duration is within the range of 20~60min. It is only used for anesthesia of rodents.
