Tipiracil
Catalog No.
BA3519
A thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor.
Featured Products
Tipiracil is an inhibitor targeting thymidine phosphorylase (TPase). Thymidine phosphorylase is involved in the degradation and utilization of thymidine during cellular DNA synthesis. By inhibiting this enzyme activity, Tipiracil can reduce thymidine degradation, interfere with nucleotide metabolism, and thereby affect cell proliferation. In research, Tipiracil is commonly used to investigate the regulatory mechanisms of thymidine phosphorylase in tumor cell DNA synthesis and cell cycle control, and is also used in preliminary pharmacological efficacy studies of tumor treatment regimens and analyses of drug mechanisms of action.
