Stampidine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor with potent, broad-spectrum anti activity.Stampidine inhibits laboratory HIV-1 strains HTLV (B envelope subtype) and major clinical isolates with values of 1nM and 2nM, respectively.Stampidine also inhibits NRTI-resistant clinical isolates and NNRTI-resistant clinical isolates with values of 8.7nM and 11.2nM.
