Background

Roseoside is a sesquiterpene compound isolated from Catharanthus roseus. Studies have shown that this compound has significant biological activities, including strong antioxidant effects and insulin-promoting activity. Roseoside can effectively inhibit lipid oxidation and reduce oxidative stress damage. Furthermore, it also shows the ability to enhance insulin release from the islet β cell line INS-1 and is expected to be used in diabetes-related research. Meanwhile, Roseoside has also been found to have potential anti-cancer activity and can be used in cancer-related research and exploration.
