Iron Dextran
Iron Dextran (CAS No.: 9004-66-4) is a polymeric iron carbohydrate complex broadly categorized as a hematology related research reagent and micronutrient delivery model compound that is used in biomedical investigations of iron homeostasis, erythropoiesis, and experimentally induced iron deficiency states, particularly in preclinical and veterinary oriented settings where controlled iron repletion paradigms are required for mechanistic study.
