Homosalate
Homosalate (CAS No.: 118-56-9) is an organic compound primarily used in biomedical research related to skin protection and cellular responses to ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. As an esterification product of salicylic acid and 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol, Homosalate effectively filters ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation and is an important component in the study of photoprotection mechanisms.
