GST-Tag Elution Buffer (with Triton and Glycerol) elutes the tagged protein from the beads by competing with the reduced GSH for binding to the fusion protein on the beads. This product contains TritonX-100 and glycerin, TritonX-100 can increase the solubility of protein, glycerol can not only reduce the polarity of the target protein, but also protect the activity of the target protein. GST-Tag Elution Buffer (with Glycerol) (K4203) without TritonX-100 can be used for the loss of activity of the target protein.
