DSPE-PEG2000-NHS
DSPE‑PEG2000‑NHS is an activated phospholipid‑PEG conjugate composed of distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE), PEG chain (MW 2000) and N‑hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) reactive terminal group. The hydrophobic DSPE segment inserts into lipid bilayers, while hydrophilic PEG prolongs the in vivo circulation of liposomes. The terminal NHS active ester readily forms covalent amide bonds with primary amines on proteins and peptides at ambient temperature. Widely applied in liposome and LNP modification for targeted nanomedicine, it conjugates targeting ligands (antibodies, peptides) onto nanoparticle surfaces to fabricate targeted drug delivery systems.
