A naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan, as a thrombin inactivator
Featured Products
Dermatan sulphate sodium is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan, a sticky polysaccharide that is widely found in connective tissue, skin and blood vessel walls. As a thrombin inactivator, it can effectively inhibit the activity of thrombin, thus playing a significant anticoagulant and antithrombotic effect. Dermatan sulphate sodium increases its inhibitory effect on thrombin by binding to antithrombin III, thereby preventing thrombosis. In addition, it also has a variety of biological activities such as improving hemorrheology, protecting vascular endothelial cells and anti-inflammatory, and is often used in clinical prevention and treatment of thrombotic diseases.
