Background

DBCO-Cy3 (DBCO-Sulfo-Cy3) is a derivative of Cyanine3fluorophore, a pH (4-10) insensitive orange-red fluorescent dye with excitation and emission wavelengths of 555 nm and 580 nm, respectively.Sulfo-Cy3DBCO has fast kinetics of reaction, good stability, and can be used in a wide range of standard fluorescent instruments. DBCO-Cy3 is a click chemistry reagent. It contains a DBCO group that can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing an Azide group.
