Chol-N3

Chol-N3 is a bioorthogonal chol-based probe.Chol-N3 can be combined with super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (SRM) to provide direct visualization of nanoscale lipid heterogeneity on the cell surface of resting living cells.Chol-N3 is a click chemistry reagent. It contains an Azide moiety and can undergo a copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing an Alkyne moiety. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
