Bobcat339
Bobcat339 is an effective and selective cytosine structure-based TET enzyme inhibitor that can specifically inhibit the activity of TET family enzymes. The IC50 values for TET1 and TET2 are 33 μM and 73 μM, respectively. TET enzymes play a significant role in the DNA demethylation process. Therefore, Bobcat339 can effectively regulate DNA methylation levels by inhibiting the activity of TET enzymes, thereby influencing gene transcriptional expression. Bobcat339 has significant application value in the field of epigenetics research and can be used to explore the relationship between DNA methylation and gene expression, revealing the epigenetic regulatory mechanism. In addition, Bobcat339 can also serve as a starting point for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting DNA methylation and gene transcription, providing potential drug development directions for the treatment of various diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
