The antibiotic Avrainvillamide, also an antibiotic, inhibits the growth of multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Enterococcus faecalis with MICs of 12.5, 12.5, and 25 μg/ml, respectively.
