Almonertinib
Almonertinib (CAS No.: 1899921-05-1) is an orally effective irreversible tyrosine kinase inhibitor belonging to the third-generation EGFR inhibitors. It is highly selective for EGFR sensitizing mutations and the T790M resistance mutation, making it an important tool for research on specific oncogenic signaling pathways in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Almonertinib exhibits potent inhibitory activity in the nanomolar range against multiple EGFR mutations (such as T790M, L858R/T790M, and exon 19 deletions), while showing lower activity against wild-type EGFR. This compound can specifically target activating mutations in the EGFR pathway, inhibit cell proliferation, and induce apoptosis in engineered cell lines and patient-derived NSCLC models. In vitro studies have shown its efficacy in reducing the proliferation rate and inducing apoptosis in NSCLC cells with specific exon 20 insertions. In addition, in vivo studies using mouse xenograft models have validated its potential in reducing tumor growth, providing valuable insights into its biological function. In the field of drug development, the effects of Almonertinib have been demonstrated in various experimental settings and are particularly important in the context of NSCLC, helping to elucidate EGFR-mediated oncogenic processes. Its typical applications cover cell and animal models, and the concentrations or doses used in experiments generally depend on the specific experimental design and research objectives, reflecting its broad applicability in preclinical research.
