Featured Products
Aceclofenac (CAS No.: 89796-99-6) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), mainly used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Its mechanism of action is primarily through inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) activity, reducing the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor (TNF), thereby exerting anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. In addition, Aceclofenac can inhibit nitric oxide production in human articular chondrocytes and, by reducing the expression of L-selectin (CD62L), interfere with neutrophil adhesion to endothelial cells. In in vitro studies, Aceclofenac shows activity at nanomolar to low micromolar levels. In cell and animal models, Aceclofenac is often used to evaluate its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and the doses or concentrations used in experiments typically depend on the experimental design and research objectives.
